Edward Parker - Head PGA Professional
Having turned PGA Professional in 2011 I am delighted to have been appointed Head PGA Professional of Crewe Golf Club. Once a junior member at Crewe Golf Club it’s a great feeling to be back where I consider home.
My golf career really accelerated during my years at The University of Birmingham when I completed my BA(Hons) degree in Applied Golf Management. This gave me a great start to educate my future in golf. During my time there I won the British University Golf Championships and represented Great Britain at the World University Games in Italy. I also represented the R&A in several overseas events including The Peruvian Amateur and having several top finishes.
From there I completed my Masters Degree in New Mexico where I played college golf for 2 years and obtained a MA in Business and Psychology. I gained valuable experience in this time and also met my wonderful wife Emily who has supported me ever since. A few years later I turned professional and began a career in coaching golf to all ages and abilities and gained valuable experience at a number of great golf courses.
Today I am extremely proud to be running the professional services at Crewe Golf Club. This includes our state of the art indoor/outdoor golf studio where we offer a wide range of lesson packages and also conduct an extensive club custom fitting service with a range of top brands. Having recently refurbished the professional shop we now offer a huge range of products from all of the top brands which cater for all abilities and budgets.
